We fused the youthful energy of Japan with technology to create a campaign spanning across outdoor and online

Dazzle Ship worked to dictate the art direction and video production for the ‘Wild/Rare’ campaign by Asics. We chose to work in photo-realistic CGI, employing the collaborative design skills of Craig from Adora Attack.

The campaign is inspired by a wild era, global street style and modern Japan. Wild Rare intends to capture the youthful energy of urban life, infused with technology and photo treatments harkening back to the 1990s.

Wild Rare is inspired by the authentic history of the ASICS Tiger brand: the brand was born in the Wild Era of Japan in the 90s, and the products have rare details that competitors can’t compete with, such as the split tongue on the GEL-LYTE III.
